Easy (and delicious) Berry Cobbler

Can I just say, this Berry Cobbler is

DIVINE!

Warm, delicious mixed berry cobbler that makes your taste buds very happy.

It was so easy to put together too--I mixed everything up in minutes and popped it in the oven right before my family sat down for dinner. Then, by the time we ate and cleared the dishes, it was ready to be eaten--and we were ready for it!

Here's the recipe:

Ingredients
4-6 c. fresh or frozen berries (any individual berry or combo works great—blackberry, raspberry, etc.)
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 egg
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
6 Tbsp. melted butter

Directions
Preheat oven to 375. Place berries in a lightly greased 8-inch square baking dish; sprinkle with lemon juice. Stir together the egg, flour and sugar in a bowl until mixture resembles course crumbs. Sprinkle over the berries. Drizzle butter over the topping. Bake until lightly browned and bubbly (~30 minutes if using fresh berries, ~ 60 minutes if using frozen). Let stand for 10 minutes. Sere warm with ice cream or whipped cream, if desired. Makes 4 servings. You may also bake in individual ramekins.

Mmmmmm. :)

Oh my gosh, your pictures of this cobbler seem to get more tempting the further I go down. That ice cream is a nice touch. I'm starting a new linky on my blog tomorrow called "Sweets for a Saturday" and I'd like to invite you to stop by and link this up.
