Sweet Valentine's Bouquet

I've seen these types of bouquets before, and I finally decided to make one for myself. Aren't they fun? I've seen these filled with cranberries or little pinecones, apples or clementines, or recently with Conversation Hearts or little red candies.

I love them!

The key is to find containers that nest inside one another nicely. I'm not a huge fan of buying something all the time, sooooo I started pulling out all sorts of stuff from my kitchen cupboards. I ended up using my glass "tupperwares" (that's what we call them) and the base for my citrus juicer. :) Worked great!

You'll want to find a container that will nest inside another clear container and leaves about an inch or so. That way there will be plenty of room for the candies (and plenty of water for your flowers).

I actually bought these roses at a grocery store in their "sell-quick-before-they-die" section. Got a great deal. Sweet. :)

Lots of fun. Have fun decorating this week. :)

Here's where we're linking up.

  1. I love this idea! I always check out the discounted flower section in the grocery store too. I found a bunch of mini rose bushes last year for a buck. I planted them in the ground hoping they'll make an appearance this Spring!
