Guest Post: Summit Street Joy

Hey ya'all! I'm Lauren from Summit Street Joy and I'm SO very excited to have the opportunity to introduce myself here at Everyday Art.  { Jaime & Emily are seriously talented, no?! }

Family comes first, right?! So, first off, I'll introduce you to the little folks who fill our home with joy.

my littlest guy & me
Here they are... my {most-of-the-time} happy crew:
all 3 littles :)
While I've been blogging for several years on my personal/faith blog, Summit St Joy started as a creative outlet for me after moving into our new home last summer.  My mind was sort of spinning with a million projects that I wanted to work on, & blogging about it all has helped me organize my thoughts {pinterest helps too!}.  I LOVE sharing my projects & ideas with others, & finding inspiration from all the very talented folks out there, as well.
On Summit St, I mostly write about:

- thrifty finds turned into decorating treasure

- home decorating crafts

- handmade gifts ideas
{ like this homemade pancake mix gift }

and of course you can also follow our journey of transforming these very empty rooms & white walls...

... into joyful, colorful spaces, decorated with thrifty finds on a budget!

Be sure to check out Summit St's Fave{5}on Friday post every week for a fun list of my 5 favorite somethings!

Oh, and very last thing!  Whenever I can find spare time {usually when I should be sleeping!}, I love love love creating pretty digital art. I love sharing new freebie printables with my readers, so be sure to stop back & see what's free! You can also stop by the Summit St etsy shop for other fun subway printables & other goodies.

Well, I think that about sums it up!

Thanks so much for having me, Jaime & Emily :)

Come on by Summit St for a visit anytime! :)

With Joy,

Lauren @ Summit St Joy

Thanks Lauren! She really is a fun gal with lots of great ideas. Head on over and check her blog out (we love her beautiful organizing inspirations she had in early January--anyone else feeling the need to organize a bit after the holidays???)
